Caledonia Road Church restoration
April 10 2009
Partial conservation of the derelict Caledonia Road church is proposed by the Alexander Thomson Society to establish a Thomson study centre, archive and exhibition for the public.
An extension to the north facade will recall the scale of original tenements to accomodate expanded gallery space and ten serviced flats.
Conservation and extension of the existing building fabric will be carried out by Gholami Baines architects with David Narro Associates acting as structural engineer.
