Marischal College revamp marshalls approvals

Planning permission and listed building consent have been granted to Holmes for the transformation of Marischal College into a Aberdeen City Council’s headquarters.Works will see the second largest granite building in the world gutted and rooftop extensions added to provide contemporary open plan office accommodation. In addition an existing entrance pend will be infilled to provide a new entrance lobby.
The interior fit out will grapple with floor level interactions behind the retained façade with the incorporation of meeting pods and café areas.
