Construction industry join forces for Glenrothes

The Glenrothes conference, in association with Highland Colour Coaters, steps up a gear this week with the publication of our official brochure, “Saving Down Towns”. This details a full list of our speakers along with our program of events, an unmissable companion piece for any prospective delegate.The confirmed list of speakers are:
John Lord, Yellow Book
John Lord is the founder and director of yellow book, economic
development and regeneration consultants based in Edinburgh.
Allan Murray, Architect
Allan Murray, Glenrothes’ most famous erstwhile resident, coestablished
his eponymous practice with the aim of producing
innovative and practical solutions to the highest design
standards.
John Mark Di Ciacca, EDI Group
John Mark joined The EDI Group in 1997 and is Acting Chief
Executive and Head of Property and Development. He has
particular experience of streetscapes and public spaces.
Ed Taylor, The Prince’s Foundation
Ed Taylor is an urban designer and architect for the Prince’s
Foundation in Scotland, and aims to put communities at the
heart of the planning process.
Geoff Crowley, Highland Colour Coaters
Geoff Crowley is an ardent promoter of quality public realm and
has developed an innovative ‘Colourgalv’ process to bring a
new dimension of long lasting colour to the environment.
Willie Miller, Willie Miller Urban Design
Willie Miller runs a creative interdisciplinary consultancy
specialising in place-making and the design and regeneration
of urban and rural areas.
Neil De Prez, Associate Director, 3DReid
Neil De Prez has responsibility for developing major projects
and public realm led master plans, emphasising how an
accessible public realm can increase the value of all sites
which adjoin it.
