Signarama leads the Way
February 20 2009
Signarama have risen to a challenge set by East Dunbartonshire Council and designed, manufactured and installed a sign to mark the start of Scotland’s most famous walk, “The West Highland Way.”The importance of successfully denoting the starting point for the highland trek was not lost on Signarama who did not balk from the walk.
Signage sports a British Racing Green background with fret cut thistles in stainless steel. The descriptive term for the 96 miles of proceeding pathway are stencilled in built up text of brushed stainless steel.
Located on Milngavie High Street on a sloping bridge spanning Allander Water the sign is the first point of contact for thousands of walkers on their marathon march and imparts a favourable departing impression of civilisation.
