Reports suggest that MCM architects have gone into interim liquidation, this follows the departure of at least one leading member of staff. The Edinburgh Gazette, a forum for public legal notices, states that: “On 4 September 2008 a Petition was presented to Glasgow Sheriff Court by Haroon Askari and Tasneem Askari, both residing at 25/1 Khyabane Momin, Dhaphase V, Karachi, Pakistan for inter alia an order under the Insolvency Act 1986 to wind up Monro Cruikshank MacGregor Limited, having its registered office at Dundas Court, 38/40 New City Road, Glasgow G4 9JT and to appoint an interim liquidator.”
The liquidator is now in control of the company assets and will dispose of these to the best advantage of MCM's creditors.

Nobody from MCM was available to comment.
