Esk Properties and Blackrock are seeking backers for Glasgow’s latest boutique hotel development, The Queen Margaret.

Occupying former Beeb premises in the heart of the west end the 85 bed hotel will include a spa and fitness suite.

Three historic buildings overlooking the Botanic Gardens and the river Kelvin comprising renaissance, mackintosh and art deco designs will be conjoined by substantial new build accommodation.

The hotel forms part of a wider £37m redevelopment of the former media campus by Applecross and CDA architects to provide 155 new homes, completion is slated for 2011.
