Chesterfield-based architects Whittam Cox have expanded their operations north of the border with the opening of a new office in Dundee.
Led by newly appointed regional director Clive Gordon, formerly of Halliday Fraser Munro, the studio will serve as a Scottish hub for the practice as it seeks to establish itself in the local market.
Andy Dabbs, managing executive director, commented: “We see Scotland as a diverse and dynamic market for us. By establishing a local presence, we aim to deepen our relationships with existing clients and enhance our proposition and reach for new client growth, both here and in Ireland”.
Gordon added: "This is a great opportunity to build on the clear strengths of Whittam Cox Architects profile and reputation, and I’m delighted to be joining and them and shaping this new location. Through working closely with the senior management team and wider practice colleagues, we are confident we can create a strong service offering here with clear potential for growth”.
Gordon has previous experience delivering Inverness Retail Park and has developed drive-thru concepts for fast food brands. Initially focussed on the retail sector Whittam Cox will use their expanded presence to build their client base in the city and beyond.
