Wallyford Learning Campus caps recent residential expansion

Wallyford Learning Campus has been officially opened by East Lothian Council, a £47.2m facility catering to ongoing residential expansion that combines a secondary school, library, community centre and sports pitches.

Designed by jmarchitects to help seed a sense of community in the fast-growing village the campus centres on the newly established Rosehill High School.

Inspired by nature the internal spaces were designed by East Lothian Council’s interior designer.

East Lothian Council’s Cabinet member for Education and Children’s and Family Services councillor Fiona Dugdale said: “This has been an ambitious project to bring together a number of facilities under one roof that would improve connections and offer a range of opportunities to the widest community."

Construction began in August 2021 and the school was handed over by Morrison Construction and Hub South East in August 2023.
