A modest residential development of 12 apartments has been delivered in Helensburgh by the JR Group on behalf of Dunbritton Housing Association.

Jeanie Deans on East King Street has been built as part of a government-backed initiative to boost the stock of homes for social rent.

Sandra Lindsay, development director, for The JR Group, said: “We are proud to have delivered quality homes for the area at a time when towns across the country including Helensburgh, are in great need of more affordable housing."

Dunbritton chair Sephton MacQuire, added: “This was much needed in Helensburgh, where there are so many applicants on the Home Argyll housing register."

The project team included MAST Architects, G3 Consulting, NBM Construction and Macdonald & Cameron.
