Preparatory works for the delivery of a £15m community hub in Kirkcaldy are to get underway shortly on behalf of Fife Council.

Templehall Community Hub is being delivered by BAM Construction and AHR Architects, replacing the existing Argos Centre with a library, cafe and gym.

Councillor Ian Cameron commented: “The new Templehall Community Hub will be a fantastic resource for the whole community. A brand new, modern, purpose-built facility, replacing a cluster of ageing, poor quality facilities in the area."

Developing plans for the centre include a main hall capable of hosting large-scale events, a training kitchen and a cafe connected to an outdoor decked growing area.
