Apartment appetite wanes as developers make student switch

Graham Investment Projects and Cooper Cromar are to host a second round of consultations regarding the delivery of purpose-built student accommodation at 138 Hydepark Street, Glasgow.

Working within the envelope of a residential project currently subject to planning approval, the switch in use follows a similar change in tack at a separate development on nearby Finnieston Street.

Rising on the site of an existing commercial building adjoining the River Heights apartment block the project joins a number of high density projects along the River Clyde development corridor.

Model representations illustrate the scale of the planned scheme in the context of neighbouring developments in the fast-growing district.

The consultation is scheduled for Monday 16 September at the Radisson Red Hotel on Tunnel Street.
