Life science lab to bring precision medicine to Govan

A purpose-built life science facility in Govan is taking shape with the completion of its structural core.
The NHS and University of Glasgow are lined up to be the first tenants of the Health Innovation Hub, undertaking research and development for digital health technologies.
Delivered by Kadans with Hawkins/Brown, HarrisonStevens, Morrison Construction and WSP the 87,000sq/ft laboratory and office space is scheduled to complete in autumn 2025.
Katie Nelson, head of leasing, UK & Ireland for Kadans, said: “This is an exciting milestone on the journey to create a truly world-class precision medicine facility. The Health Innovation Hub will help to position Glasgow as a global leader in the key area of precision medicine."
Developed in partnership with The Living Laboratory, a partnership between the University of Glasgow, Scottish Enterprise and Glasgow City Council the hub aims to become a leader in healthcare innovation.
