Street hugging infill housing rises in Partick

Westpoint Homes has unveiled Quarter West, a development of 35 apartments at Burgh Hall Street, Partick.

The brownfield build allots private front gardens to ground-floor properties and a rooftop terrace to fourth-floor penthouses with views to Partick Burgh Hall.

The five-storey building has been designed by ISA with flats ranging from 540sq/ft one bed to a 1,134sq/ft three-bed penthouse, all with 'enhanced window sizes' to boost daylight.

Single and double bays are aligned with pre-cast entrance closes, each lent further emphasis by stack bonded charcoal bricks.

The public realm has been overseen by Keith Wood Landscape Design.

Surely a missed opportunity not to work with the medical centre next door to incorporate this within the design and have a larger development. We need more joined up and integrated developments.
