Winchburgh's growth continues with more new homes on the way

The fast-growing commuter town of Winchburgh, West Lothian, is set for further expansion with the launch of a new residential development.

CALA Homes is returning to the area for a third time with Millgate Lawns, a collection of terraced and detached properties adjoining the earlier Oakbank development.

Linked to the village centre and Auldcathie District Park by walking and cycling routes the energy-efficient estate will incorporate solar panels and smart hot water cylinders.

John Hamilton, Winchburgh Developments Limited CEO, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Cala‘s exciting new development at Millgate Lawns in this central location in Winchburgh, bringing their high-quality range of homes to the heart of the village close to the newly opened core road and central amenities.”

Winchburgh is home to a new marina as well as schools and a supermarket to serve the growing population.

Had John Hamilton seen the visuals before describing this as exciting?
