Enabling works underway for significant Wallyford expansion

More new homes are to be built in the fast-growing East Lothian village of Wallyford to meet accommodation pressures in the area.

Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has obtained planning consent to build a mix of 137 houses detached homes alongside nine apartments classed as affordable on farmland outside the village.

Initial works include the formation of a new junction off the A199 as well as drainage and earthworks. This is expected to be completed in a few months as part of a larger new neighbourhood of approximately 700 homes.

This follows on from the delivery of new schools to support the influx of families to the area.

And I'm sure they will look as fantastic as the other houses already built there...
You would be forgiven for confusing what East Lothian town you are in nowadays.
