Dundee student demand fuels Stanley Studios expansion

The second phase of a large student housing development in Dundee is set to break ground after securing funding.
An additional 98 student beds will be built, in addition to an initial 152 beds already under construction, at the Stanley Studios complex which features an on-site gym and private roof terrace.
Andrew Whiteley at Glenmore Group said: “We are delighted to be working with Puma once again to deliver phase two of our PBSA development in Dundee, which is home to two excellent universities with fast-growing reputations.
“We have appointed CRM Student to manage what will be the market-leading student property in Dundee, offering fantastic studios and leisure facilities in a very convenient location. We are excited to welcome our first student intake to phase one this summer and phase two next.”
The development has been designed with a sawtooth roof profile by CAG Architects to evoke the industrial heritage of the inner city site.
