A five-star hotel resort in Bishopton, close to Glasgow Airport, has expanded its leisure offer to entice active travellers and members to its doors.

Mar Hall Hotel appointed Curveline Design to overhaul existing spaces and provide a 20m pool and outdoor thermal suite alongside a new gym designed by Primal.

Joe Gallacher, general manager at Mar Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort, said: “These new improvements form part of the ongoing multi-million-pound redevelopment project to elevate and modernise the resort while celebrating Mar Hall’s rich Scottish heritage.”

The first phase of a larger £15m resort development by Dubai-based Dutco Group the build is to be followed up by a new wellness suite.

This precedes a full redesign of the main hotel by Graven and Unwin Jones Partnership to better compete with Cameron House and Gleneagles.
