Find your place in Urban Realm's spring edition
April 19 2024
The latest issue of Urban Realm takes the theme of renewal and runs with it by taking a closer look at how our towns, cities and neighbourhoods are repositioning to promote well-being, accessibility and community.
Our pavement pounding takes us to Aberdeen’s Union Street, where we look at how past mistakes can help inform future approaches to one of the great thoroughfares. We also return to Cumbernauld and The Wyndford estate, contrasting their controversial approaches with the community-centric model adopted in Govanhill.
On the other hand, the declaration of a housing emergency by Glasgow and Edinburgh shows that we cannot rely on tomorrow’s solutions to solve today’s problems, we return to the subject with an urgent investigation.
From urban renewal to magazine renewal, we hope you will join Urban Realm in discovering great architecture by subscribing to our print edition.
