Bishopbriggs surgery expansion addresses long wait times

Work to deliver an extension to an existing medical centre in Bishopbriggs has been completed, providing much-needed additional consultation rooms for the busy practice.
The 12-week build programme at Kenmure Medical Practice on Springfield Road has enabled three new GPs to move in, helping to ease waiting times.
Designed by S2 Architecture the modest extension sits below two small pyramid roofs in a nod to the existing centre and to reduce apparent height.
An unsuccessful hunt for suitable alternative accommodation prompted the practice to specify a purpose-built extension to improve the quality of care.
A belt of mature trees have been retained
