Having been sent homewards to think again by the unamused locals of John O' Groats the 2010 Carbuncles trophy was passed to runners up Denny.
Residents jumped at the chance to get involved and Urban Realm was happy to get involved, organising a week long ‘Lance the Boil’ exhibition, sponsored by Urban Realm, outlining alternative visions for the Stirlingshire town.
Also in the running this year were East Kilbride, Inverness and Lochgelly.
