Lunan Bay Cafe and Farm Shop
Lunan Bay Café & Farm Shop is a new build commercial premises located in the picturesque Lunan Bay area of Angus. The project brief was to create a new premises for our client’s business which was previously located in a converted bothy.
Our client required a larger premises to allow for the expansion of the business, closer to tourist amenities of the beach. The new development takes inspiration from the farm buildings around the site. The corrugated roof and untreated larch cladding echo the material palette of surrounding buildings.
The building’s butterfly roof and glulam timber frame open up towards the beach, allowing the activities in the open plan shop & café to spill out onto the external decking during the summer months.
