Ben Wyvis Primary School

Ben Wyvis Primary School replaces aging provision for the villages of Maryburgh and Conon Bridge, and has 10 class bases, sports and community facilities.

The design of the School was inspired by traditional Highland agricultural forms and a pragmatic approach to construction.
The school is arranged as a steading on a single level. The accommodation creates an open courtyard angled to provide wind protection and maximise sun penetration, allowing learning to extend to outside spaces.
