Venture Building
haa design has worked with development company Speyroc Limited to design a 30,000 sq foot speculative technology building in Glasgow. The brief called for a highly sustainable design, which is also efficiently planned and highly adaptable.
The building is naturally cooled and ventilated, making use of generous floor to ceiling heights, an exposed concrete soffit and thermally controlled cross ventilation via the atrium. It has achieved an “Excellent” BREEAM rating, within a modest budget, and is one of the first speculative office buildings in Scotland to achieve this rating.
