Springside Housing
This £120m development is transforming the former Fountainbridge brewery and kegging site into one of Edinburgh’s most comprehensive and cohesive regeneration projects of recent times.
The development will establish a new neighbourhood of 650 new homes, offices and retail space. The project will stitch together existing streets with striking new urban spaces and public parks, connecting established South Edinburgh neighbourhoods with the transport hub of Haymarket and the West End.
First phase buildings, such as Inglis Point and Jex Blake House, are now complete, with an on-going construction programme for Springside East set to deliver 250 homes, underground car parking and public realm by 2011.
