Lower Gilmore Place
The Lower Gilmore Place development, situated by the Union Canal, boasts five impressive peaks that rise high above the canal's historic walls. The development was designed to harmonise with its aquatic surroundings, emphasising a domestic atmosphere. In total, there are 69 apartments catering specifically to students in the Lochrin Basin, some of which offer views of the castle, while others overlook a charming south-facing courtyard and garden. These apartments have been meticulously designed to incorporate modern multifunctional amenities that create a welcoming environment.
As a result, all accommodation was pre-let before the project was completed. Each studio apartment has its own en-suite shower room, compact kitchen, dining area, workspace, and double bed, along with ample storage space. Residents have the option of enjoying peace and solitude in their private apartments or socializing in one of several communal spaces, such as the games room, cinema room, private dining area, or the large multifunctional space. The environment is bright, warm, and inviting, making it a perfect space for students to study, socialize, or simply relax. The versatility of the space enables students to adapt it to their needs and preferences throughout the day.
