Walker House

A new build house with a sympathetic design, located within a Conservation Area in the East Neuk of Fife. The design expresses a modern interpretation of the traditional Scottish rural aesthetic, which assists in enhancing the character of the surrounding area.

The orientation of the house, amongst other factors, maximises passive solar gain to create a very energy efficient home.

The new build house benefits from solar power and an air-source heat pump which paired with the high levels of insulation and air-tightness detailing which upon completion the project achieved an EPC rating of ‘A’ for both energy efficiency and carbon emissions.
