Renowned Mexican architect dies at 94
April 17th, 2013The architect, graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), died the same day he turned 94 years of life. Rafael Tovar y de Teresa, head of the National Council for Culture and the Arts (Conaculta), confirmed the incident via his Twitter account. "Mexico is suffering a great loss: architect Pedro Ramirez Vazquez has died, one of the greatest of our culture.
Enclose the whole family, The National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) and various enclosures attached to the institution joined the condolences. “The INBA laments the demise of architect Pedro Ramirez Vazquez, creator of iconic works of Mexico. Rest in peace”.
Similarly expressed Miguel Angel Mancera, and the Secretary of Public Education (SEP), Emilio Chuayffet via Twitter. "My condolences to family and friends of the architect Pedro Ramirez Vazquez" wrote the head of government of the Federal District. While the SEP holder referred to death as follows: "My deepest condolences to the family of architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez. One of his most important works was the National Museum of Anthropology.
