November 29 2016
Architects behind a proposed new school within Perth’s Bertha Park development have staged a community consultation event outlining their approach to the 1,100 pupil high school. The informal consultation process presages a gull planning application for the build which has been necessitated by the needs of a growing local population, prompting Perth & Kinross Council to invest £145m in its school estates through to 2023.
The Norr designed school will occupy 4.67 hectares of land within the Bertha Park masterplan area, including two all-weather floodlit pitches.
When complete the wider masterplan will include community facilities, employment land, open space, landscaping and associated infrastructure.
