Dundee embraces co-living revolution for £20m creative quarter
February 10 2016
Proposals for a £20m creative industries hub at Dundee Waterfront have been unveiled by developer Our Enterprise, comprising a mix of studios, workshops, retail and housing.Filling two blocks on one side of a new city square framed by the Malmaison Hotel, revamped railway station and V&A, the scheme will incorporate street facing ‘design, make and sell’ units with co-living rental homes stacked above.
These will offer occupants shared facilities such as shared dining areas, a cinema and gym as well as additional office space.
Our Enterprise chief executive Matthew Bell said: "We are a young, innovative development and regeneration company with a difference. We care about delivering projects with a social return and the highest levels of economic and environmental sustainability.
"Dundee’s vision for the waterfront is a perfect match for us and we are thrilled to bring our investment, energy and drive to this ground-breaking project."
The project is currently being drawn up by HTA Design.

Dundee truly is one of the most forward looking cities in the UK. Well done to the cooncil (never thought I'd say such a thing....).
