University of Edinburgh hosts Darwin Tower consultation

The University of Edinburgh is to stage a public consultation on its Fielden Clegg Bradley led redevelopment of the Darwin Centre within its King’s Buildings campus masterplan.An open public consultation will be held on 15-16 February between 14:00 and 19:00 in the James Clerk Maxwell building outlining the latest proposals and inviting feedback.
In a statement the University said: “An informal exhibition is being held to explain the proposed redevelopment of the Darwin Building. Information on the King’s Buildings masterplan will be provided for context.
“This is an opportunity for you to come along and learn more about the proposal and to give the design team any feedback.”
Design work for the new look School of Biological Sciences is taking place in tandem with masterplanning work for the entirety of the King’s Buildings campus.
