Garrowhill Primary welcomes first intake of pupils
Teaching has got underway at Glasgow’s newest school this week as teachers and pupils move into the new £11.5m Garrowhill Primary, built following a Glasgow City Council commitment to rebuild or refurbish all of its primary schools.

Accommodating up to 459 pupils the in-house design also accommodates a 48 space early learning centre together with its own library, assembly hall, gym and even a woodland space for outdoor teaching.

Built from buff facing brick, timber cladding and coloured precast concrete the school sits at the heart of an inter war ‘garden estate’ of detached housing.
