Robertson has begun construction of a JM Architects designed £26.5m community campus in Brechin, providing the town with a new high school and shared leisure facilities.Incorporating its own performance space and accommodation for adult learning and youth facilities the new facility is being developed on behalf of Angus Council in partnership with hub East Central.
Council leader Iain Gaul said: “The campus approach allows us to bring together a range of enhanced services and facilities designed for use both during and out with the school day by the whole community.”
Influenced by studies of Brechin Cathedral the campus features a central top lit atrium (nave) from which a series of more intimate education spaces with brick detailing used to give some civic presence.
