Work completes on Ardrossan Medical Centre
June 4 2014
Morrison Construction have handed over a £2.5m Reiach & Hall designed medical centre to Hub South West and Irvine Bay Regeneration Company following the completion of site works.NHS Ayrshire & Arran will take possession of the property this week following conversion of a C-listed former police station in the town to provide 10,000sq/ft of accommodation for minor surgery and a range of clinical services.
Patrick Wiggins, chief executive of Irvine Bay Regeneration Company said: “Bringing this formerly derelict site back into use as doctors’ surgery and healthcare centre is a great example of how buildings can be regenerated to provide vital services for the local area.”
The new centre is targeting a BREEAM ‘very good’ rating for its design, construction and environmental performance.

Glad to see it come back to life, just a shame it looks onto more rundown buildings and asda.

i had a drive down to see the development the other day.
i like it a lot
its a smart, clean, efficient development and the whole project team should be proud of what they have achieved.
