CM Architects submit Telfer House plans
August 3 2010
CM Architects have submitted £2.5m plans to reconfigure a redundant office block at 74 Miller Street, Glasgow, into private residences.A full external refurbishment of the Edwardian building will see all windows replaced with white painted timber versions to match the existing configuration whilst existing stonework will be stripped of paint, cleaned and repointed.
Brickwork to the rear is to be rendered and a rooftop plant room and flagpole will be demolished to add an additional two floors of penthouse accommodation comprising a copper fascia and Terne coated steel.
No timecale has been given for the works which currently await planning approval alongside an equivalent scheme by Parritt Leng on the site of Cairns Pub.
