Reiach and Hall have been appointed to develop the National Nuclear Archive, a £15m facility in Wick, Caithness.

There are relatively few projects of this quality at present. We are aware how fortunate we are.''

Reiach and Hall fended off a strong shortlist in process beating off BDP, Broadway Malyan, Gareth Hoskins and JM architects.

The practice will commence work on the project in the New Year, aiming to complete for the summer of 2013.
