Birks Cinema
The Art Deco Birks Cinema closed 30 years ago and has now been renovated and reopened as a state of the art digital cinema after a seven year campaign by the local community that raised £1.8 million. The cinema is located within the Aberfeldy Conservation Area but is not listed.
We made large openings in the west side that let in light and sunshine and open up views out to the town square.
Located in a corner of the town square the renovation of the Birks and landscaping completed by Perth & Kinross Council has dramatically improved and brought new life into the town centre.
